Chris Andrews, from Logy Bay, and St. John's native Mark Hiscock are two of St. John's busiest musicians! They began as a duo performing on the tour schooner The Scademia, and their popularity as entertainers prompted them to record an album together to sell to the many tourists who asked for a recording by them. They soon became favourites on George Street as their live show drew crowds.

Andrews & Hiscock later teamed up with local artists to form Shanneyganock, the best live band in Newfoundland. They recently teamed up with several well-known local musicians to form Newfoundland's "supergroup", The Government Rams. Chris Andrews and Mark Hiscock also have blooming solo careers, as they have both released fantastic solo CDs.
