Chris Andrews
Chris Andrews, from Logy Bay, is one of St. John's busiest musicians! He began performing in a duo with Mark Hiscock on the tour schooner The Scademia, and the duo's popularity as entertainers prompted them to record an album together to sell to the many tourists who asked for a recording by them. They soon became favourites on George Street as their live show drew crowds.
Andrews & Hiscock later teamed up with local artists to form Shanneyganock, often considered the best live band in Newfoundland. They recently teamed up with several well-known local musicians to form Newfoundland's "supergroup", The Government Rams. Chris Andrews also has a blooming solo career, recently releasing a fantastic solo CD, "By The Hush", on which he performs several songs he has written.
